Comcast Cable TV Special Promotion

By Tina Harrison

If you are looking for an excellent internet service provider. Comcast TV has exactly what you need! Comcast has a download speeds as high as sixteen megabytes per second in in most areas. That's over four times its maximum speed. With the internet starting to be the quickest and most reliable resource of communication, why waste the time with the dial up or other internet services that can't keep up with Comcast Cable Internet. Comcast is beyond other service providers in competition. Other companies that provide broadband, satellite, and DSL can't keep up with the speed of Comcast Broadband Internet services.

The reason Comcast internet service is quicker is because Comcast Internet delivers its service through coaxial cables which allows comcast to provide so many mbps. DSL only delivers about 2 or 3 mbps, because it has to travel over phone lines. Satellite internet service delivers just like DSL, and not to mention costly. If the weather is bad or if trees get in the way, who knows you may not get a signal and therefore no service. Which can be very annoying and frustrating. And Dial up service is just not worth dealing with. You have to tie up your phone line the installation process is time consuming and the service is extremely slow. It can be a really bad headache.

Comcast internet connection makes surfing the internet very enjoyable. The speed is 1 excellent thing but downloading software is also another reason. It is a lot more safer, when it comes down to protecting your computer. You can download the latest anti-virus protection edition right from your fingertips.

In addition Comcast Specials also allow you to provide VoIp service with your internet services. That is even a better way to keep communication going. Music, games, and movies are also downloadable without hassel.

And the wireless internet service is another available option. Comcast can provide you with the wireless router and a wireless modem, which can allow you to connect to the internet from virtually anywhere. The latest and up to date technology is all at your hands with this service provider. There is no need to go to different places for different services when you can get it all from one internet provider.

The bottom line is Comcast Internet provides great internet access for everyone. The price of the service is very reasonable, better yet you can bundle it with any other service you have with comcast and that way you can save time getting bills paid and money. So why waste time on monthly subscription fees, Service being interrupted, not being able to download certain things, slow internet service, putting your computer at risk because of not being able to download suitable ant-virus protection, and worrying about being up to date with the latest technology.

The convenience of Comcast being your internet provider is splended. You can get piece in mind knowing that you are getting the best in service with Comcast. Stay connected and stay up to date with a company that is providing the greatest access to the internet world.

The Characters Of Sex And The City

By Lola Jasminia

If you're going to watch Sex And The City to try to figure out exactly what "style" the main character, Carrie Bradshaw, is, then forget it. Carrie has no set "Style" and you'll just drive yourself insane. As the most fashion-forward member of the group, Carrie's closet contains an eclectic mix of vintage, retro, Gap and haute couture. The mix is quite outrageous and extremely fun! Featuring Manolos almost constantly, Carrie also offers up a different signature fashion statement every season. Beginning with her nameplate necklace in season 1 and continuing on with flower pins, Fendi bags, gloves, hats.....

Carrie's friend, Samantha Jones, is a high-powered PR executive who just happens to have a killer body! By day, she wears suits in bold colors that show off her curves. But by night, watch out! Samantha really turns it up with some extremely racy ensembles that leave very little to the imagination!

Pragmatic Miranda Hobbes has a more austere outlook on her daytime fashions. As a lawyer, she dresses in smart, tailored suits to maintain her professional image and get the job done. She's also the most laid back of the four when it comes to weekend wear, prefering jeans and sweats to frilly skirts and stilettos. She can, however, when called upon, come up with some eyecatching evening wear that keeps up with the other girls just fine. And that red hair makes her a real stand-out in the crowd.

Charlotte York is perhaps the most prim and proper of the group. Her perfectly coordinated pastels reflect her Park Avenue lifestyle. Always crisp and refreshing, she sometimes appears grim in her fashion taste. But we all know the truth, don't we? Watch out Atlantic City!

And what about the men of Sex And The City? Certainly no discussion of the characters would be complete without including Mr. Big. Although his first name is finally revealed in the final episode, and we also learn his full name in the movie, we'll still call him Mr. Big. And being the successful New York businessman that he is, we see him most of the time in Armani....or nothing!

Steve Brady prefers his jeans and T-shirts above all else. He doesn't even own a suit. In fact, when he finally needs one, Miranda buys it for him. But who can resist this boyish, fun-loving guy with big, blue eyes and an even bigger heart?

Harry! Poor Harry. He's short, bald, hairy and has no social graces to speak of. But he's an attorney and he wears his suits well....when he wears them. And he's madly in love with Charlotte! Preferring to stroll around the apartment au natural, he does concede to Charlotte and don a pair of boxers in order to protect the white sofa.

And last, but certainly not least, there's Jerry Jerrod, aka Smith. An aspiring actor and fashion model, we see Smith in everything from suits to jeans to leather to...nothing! And his hair goes from long to short, eventually to bald as he shaves his head to support Samantha in her fight against breast cancer.

How To Visit Rome On A Budget. 5 Tips For A 5-Day Holiday!

By Cristiano Rubbi

Have heard the expression: when in Rome do as the Romans do? It's absolutely right and, when it comes to eating, you'd be well advised to do just that if you don't want to overspend. RISTORANTEs' menus on outside stands may make your mouth water, but your wallets cry. OSTERIAs or TRATTORIAs are preferable, you wouldn't normally pay more than 25 Euros per person, though you should remember that there is always a cover charge. PIZZERIAs are next best at 20 Euros per person for a sit-down pizza meal or, 6 Euros for a take-away pizza - in Rome pizzas tend to be better than in most other cities in Italy. At INSALATA RICCA, a food franchise group famous in Rome for its large salad servings and for a variety of excellent pastas, you can normally get away with 10 to 25 Euros per person. If you are missing the Mc. Donald's or Burger King's back home, don't worry, you'll find plenty of them in Rome.

Are you concerned about getting around in Rome? Have you heard travellers' tales about chaotic Roman traffic and traffic jams? Please relax and don't worry. There are plenty of ways to get over this problem, as the local population manages to do day in day out. Apart from the obvious rental cars or taxis, you can simply walk your way to most places in the centre of the city (Rome spreads out a lot into its suburbs, but the heart of the city is not so huge as some people might think). Alternatively, you can turn to public transport, which in Rome is both inexpensive and well organized. Here is the list of tickets you can buy in Rome for use on buses, street cars, subways: BIT- Integrated Time Ticket / 1.00 Euro - Lasts 75 Minutes from the time of validation (to be done immediately on boarding the first vehicle; you can only use it once on the subway). BIG - Integrated Daily Ticket / 4.00 Euros - Lasts until midnight (24.00) of the day of its validation (to be done immediately on boarding the first vehicle) and for an unrestricted number of journeys. BTI - Integrated Tourist Ticket / 11.00 Euros - Lasts for 3 days from the date indicated by the ticket holder and for an unrestricted number of journeys. CIS - Integrated Weekly Ticket / 16.00 Euros - Lasts for 7 days from the date indicated by the ticket holder and for an unrestricted number of journeys. You can buy any of these tickets in the Ticket Offices and shops.

Are you planning a trip to Rome? Surely you must be considering what churches and museums to visit during your stay there. You'll be glad to hear that admission to any church in Rome is totally free - this includes St. Peter's and all the other Basilicas, as well as minor churches. As for museums, instead, there is an admission fee for a number of them, although prices are lower than elsewhere in Europe. Also, while you may visit some museums for free, others allow free admission on specific days, e.g. the Vatican Museums have free admission for the last Sunday of each month.

Are you home-sick and your portable doesn't work? Phones being expensive in Italy, we suggest you buy International Phone Cards which reduce costs (there are cards available for 5 or 10 Euros each that allow you to speak half an hour or an hour with the States) and can be used from any phone you wish.

Beer and wine are excellent drinks, particularly during a meal. But what if you get thirsty during your tour of Rome? Apart from the various alternatives available at stands and bars along the way, you may choose to have a drink of excellent, fresh water from any of the many small fountains spouting drinking water in Rome's streets. Our suggestion is due to the possibility that you are asked up to 5 Euros for a bottle of mineral water in the centre of Rome. So just grab a bottle (if it's plastic, look at the number under the bottle showing the maximum number of times you can fill it without the container yielding chemical particles) and fill it up, keeping in mind that water from major fountains is not always drinkable.

Brief Synopsis of Pablo Picasso's Art Career

By Tom Gurney

Pablo Picasso, born in Malaga, Spain in 1881, was the son of an art teacher who encouraged him into the art world, and quickly recognised his talent. After joining the Barcelona School of Fine Arts at the age of 14 Picasso progressed quickly and soon convinced others of his extraordinary talent and creativity as an artist.

The Blue and Rose Period represents Picasso's key periods from 1900 to 1906. The subjects of Picasso's paintings during his appropriately-titled blue period were symbolised as depressed and sad, or at least at the point of their capture in the paintings of Picasso. This period was superceded by a more positive reflection of subjects during Picasso's Rose Period which used a more pink set of tones.

Pablo Picasso became great friends with Henri Matisse upon moving to Paris in 1904 and here was introduced to French Fauvism. Other artists he met here include Joan Miro and George Braques.

Picasso was a big fan of the works of Paul Cezanne and this was the inspiration for the newly founded art movement of Cubism, and later, Synthetic Cubism. Fellow artists George Braque and Juan Gris were also key to the principles of Cubism.

Picasso painted Guernica in 1937 as a protest against an air attack during the Spanish Civil War and is one of his best known paintings, not only for its quality, but also what it symbolised. His symbolic styles were continued in Dying horse and Weeping woman.

Guernica by Picasso remained at the museum of Modern Art, New York until 1981. After that it was taken to the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain and then the Queen Sofia Center of Art, also Madrid in 1992. Picasso had prevented the Guernica returning to Spain until the end of Fascist rule by General Franco.

Grasping the World Series of Poker Payout Structure

By Jeff West

Poker payouts can be very confusing whether its the amount of spots paid, or the percent paid to the players. Learning how poker payouts came about, you have to know where it all started. If you go to Las Vegas you certainly will come across a casino called Binions Horseshoe. Binions is the venue at which the World Series of Poker or simply "WSOP" is held. The owner of the casino Benny Binion was a marketing genius, coming up with an idea to have a winner-take-all poker tournament.

Those type of deals mentioned above, didn't always end up at the final table like it does today. Before the tournament started, the players voted on how the prize pool should be distributed and separated. Players resumed playing using 25% of their previous chips. 75% of the other chips were exchanged for cash at the cage.

A legal investigation ensued, because the winner-take-all tournament idea raised red flags. It raised the flags cause of the fabrication of prize money, and operating procedures were somewhat suspicious. If you have ever heard of the old quiz show, where the game was rigged called "twenty one", the federal broadcasting law wasn't enforced in this case, like it was there.

Popular television network CBS was put in a rather odd position, after it drummed up its own version of the winner-take-all tournament. This tournament was in tennis, and featured tennis stars Jimmy Conners and Rod Laver in the finals. Connors and Laver would play a great final match only split the prize money. With Conners and Laver splitting the spoils, CBS was fined by the FCC and required to issue a public apology.

It was only a matter of time before the FBI investigated the under-the table deals taking place during the World Series of Poker tournament. Benny Binion spoke to the poker players and told them he would pay the top five. Splitting the prize money between players was over in 1978.

A new payout structure was introduced at the 1978 World Series of Poker tournament by Benny Binion. The top five players who participated in the main event of that year all received a payout. Binion paid the top five players in the World Series of Poker main event until 1981. He began to pay the last nine players. Paying the last nine players lasted until 1986. The number of entrants entering the World Series of Poker tournament was 141. It forced Benny Binion to expand his payout structure again.

Players started pouring in from all over the world, and in the upcoming years would set attendance and payout records. This started with the Chris Moneymaker shocker in 2003, setting a new record for winnings in the WSOP. In 04' Binion paid out 225 spots. He was at it again in 2005 paying out 560 slots, and 873 in 06'.

The WSOP is now shown on ESPN which brings its largest sports viewing population to the poker tournament, making it bigger every year. Its hard to imagine having these kind of fields in the mid 1970's, but where the game has come, and the steps at which it has taken to get there are amazing. As you can see the payout structure has grown monumental over the years, just like the games popularity.
